Clergy and Staff

To deepen our relationships with God and one another, we engage creatively with scripture, sacrament, art, music, science, scholarship, and other faith traditions.

Our dedicated staff is committed to working diligently alongside many church volunteers to ensure the parish runs smoothly. Our Parish Administrator works four days a week and manages our office, interacting daily with staff, parishioners, and community members. We also have a paid Sexton on Sundays, and daily maintenance is outsourced to Berkshire County Arc, a local agency that provides supervised employment for individuals with disabilities.

The staff also includes three paid part-time positions. A part time Director of Music directs the Parish Choir and Handbell ringers. The music director also works with vocal soloists and instrumentalists to help provide a rich and meaningful worship experience. A part-time Church School Administrator coordinates the Children’s Church School program. We also have a part-time Coordinator for St. Stephen’s Table, a program to feed the neediest members of our community.

Finally, we have a Pastoral Care Leader: an additional non-paid staff member who aids our priest in supporting and nurturing the people of our parish.

At times in previous years, St Stephen’s benefited from having two full time clergy. Although having two priests helped meet some important needs of the parish, it has been difficult to cover the additional cost without financial assistance from the Diocese and/or through grants from other sources.
