Suspension of In-Person Worship

12 November 2020

Dear Friends,

It is our sad duty to report to you the immediate suspension of our in-person worship until further notice.

Based on a thorough study of the facts “on the ground” and the subsequent recommendation coming from The Rev. Michael Tuck, Dean of the Berkshire Episcopal Clergy, and other observations of rising cases across the county centered in Pittsfield,  we have come to this difficult, but not surprising decision.

Taping of our worship service [archived here and also available via Facebook] will continue as usual as will our parish office hours.

We commend to you a quote that Bishop Fisher included in his annual address to the diocesan convention last Saturday:

“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”

We know you join us in our ongoing lament and prayer for our country and world as our mission continues:

“Stay calm and spread the Good News.”

Faithfully,

The Rev. David DeSmith, Bridge Priest
Tom Dillion and Erin Sullivan, Co-Wardens
