Young People’s Fellowship: Ramblewild Adventure!

The Young People’s Fellowship group is meeting for a 4-hour adventure in the trees-Monday, May 30th at 10 am!

Completed waivers will serve as the list of participants, so fill out a waiver to RSVP. Please complete by Monday, May 16!!!     Also, read the guidelines thoroughly.

There will be a break for lunch, so participants should be sure to pack a lunch and plenty to drink. We hope everyone can join us for this grant-funded trip to Ramblewild!  We have extended this invitation to our friends in Williamstown, North Adams, and Northampton. If more than 15 teens RSVP, we may ask if any families are willing to pay the cost voluntarily so all teens can go – the more the merrier!

Please contact Matt Behnke via the Parish Office with any questions.

Youth Faith Formation: Background

Zion and St. Stephen’s have teamed up to do youth faith formation in 2022! Parents/grandparents/guardians and youth grades 5-12 are invited to get a taste of what we have in store this winter and spring, including – but not limited to – confirmation.

We anticipate Youth Faith Formation having a commitment of 2 times a month, once for activities/discussions/learnings at church, and once for fellowship and service with Young People’s Fellowship.

Our vision is this: We believe that churches can be places where youth experience belonging, connection, and encouragement as they figure out who they are and what it all means. In a world filled with pressure and anxiety, churches can be places where youth don’t feel the need to perform and achieve, but can simply be themselves. Our highest hopes for youth ministry don’t involve dumping two thousand years of Christian doctrine into teenagers’ heads, but convening a space where their questions can be honored and wisdom can be shared.
