Pittsfield’s 2026 Pride Parade & Celebration

The annual Pride Festival Celebration will happen on Saturday, June 20th, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As in the past, St. Stephen’s members and friends will be marching in the parade. We will also have a table set up in the common to support and join in with so many other groups to affirm, support, and celebrate this event.  For this to happen, we need your heart, hands, and voice in any way you can support our presence on this day.  There are sign-up sheets in the church, or you can call as needed to have your name added to the list of volunteers. It’s OK to bring a friend as well.  The Parade is from 11:00 to 11:30; assembling at Park Square by 10:30. The parade ends at the Common.  We are asking for volunteers to man the table for a limited time during the day. We have broken this out into 1 ½ hour segments beginning at 11:30 and hoping to have a minimum of 2 or more people present for each segment. Please consider being a part of this ministry.

In addition to the table times, we need 2 or 3 people to help move our supplies from the church to the common and get things set up. That will happen around 9-10 a.m. It’s not a lot. Just one of our long tables, a canopy tent, and the table supplies.  On the other end, we need a few people to bring everything back to the church between 4-4:30 p.m. The sign-up sheet also includes set-up and clean-up spaces.  It takes a parish!

We are hoping to have all of the area covered by the end of Sunday, the 14th, so we can plan accordingly.  Thank you for your support of our parish and our ministries, and especially for this joyous event.
