Pentecost POP Up
Once again, we’ll be celebrating Pentecost with a POP Up Stand Out moment for Jesus values. May 24th, following the 10 AM worship service. We hope you’ll join us!

New Wednesday Evening In-person Worship Opportunity
Rev. Nina, Rev. Jenny, and Pastor Joel are collaborating to offer an opportunity for quiet, intentional prayer in the middle of our busy lives. Wednesday at 5 PM in the Common Room at Zion (5/13, 5/20, 5/27, 6/3). Join us for space to take a deep breath for our souls. All are welcome!!

Sunday/Funday!
Sunday/Funday (a.k.a. Sunday School) welcomes kids in Pre-K – 5th grade. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. Our next gathering is May 24 at 9:50 a.m. in the Sears Room.

Knit & Sip!
Join in the fun and fellowship on the first Tuesday of every month! We gather in the Guild Room at 5 PM and knit and sip until 6:30 PM or so. The next gathering is Tuesday, June 2.

Pittsfield’s 2026 Pride Parade & Celebration
June 20th is Pittsfield’s Pride Parade and Celebration. St. Stephen’s will be marching and manning a booth on The Common. If you’d like to volunteer, please get in touch with David Nevin.

Safe Church Training has Changed!
The training is now done in 2 parts – there are online modules accessed through Praesidium followed up with a Zoom session led by the Diocesan Safe Church Officer.

Altar Flowers
Donate and dedicate flowers for a loved one or special occasion, $45,
OR
provide the floral arrangement honoring the dedication.
Some folks even do both!

Giving to St. Stephen’s Table
Gifts in thanksgiving or in memory can be made by donating to the church with the person’s name to be honored or remembered. You can also donate online! Go to our giving page and select “St. Stephen’s Table” from the “Fund” field.

Racial Justice Book Club
The Racial Justice Commission of the Diocese of Massachusetts hosts 4 Monday evening sessions to discuss the NY Times Bestseller Caste: The Origins of Our Discontent
Zoom sessions will be held on May 4, May 18, June 1, and June 15 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM

Sanctuary and Chapel Open During Office Hours
Just a reminder, if you’re feeling anxious, scared, or troubled, the sanctuary and chapel are open during office hours, Tuesday through Thursday, 9 AM – 4 PM, for quiet reflection or just a place to be.

Snow/ Inclement Weather Policy
Services at St. Stephen’s will be held as long as a celebrant or worship leader can get to the church safely. If a service is canceled, notification will be posted on this website.
The Parish Office will be closed when Pittsfield schools are closed.
