Sunday, October 18 · following the 10:00 AM service · The Guild Room
Read anything good lately?
We’re trying out a new book group with a twist: there’s no assigned book! Instead, bring whatever you happen to be reading — a novel, a biography, a spiritual memoir, a magazine article, even a film or podcast that stayed with you. Read us the first line, then take a few minutes to say what drew you to it. Then we hear from the next person.
That’s the whole thing. No homework. No need to have finished anything. No obligation to speak — coming just to listen is a perfectly good way to attend.
We’ll gather in the Guild Room around 11:15 AM, there will be light refreshments, and you’ll be on your way by about 12:15 PM. You’ll leave with a list of things you didn’t know you wanted to read.
The No Book Book Group will meet the third Sunday of each month for at least three months. All are welcome — bring a friend.
Conveners: Jim Brennan and Craig Reynolds
